We are Alexandra Cordos and Adrian Florea — a professional Ballroom & Latin dance couple, performers, teachers, and world travelers — dancing together in life and on stage for more than 15 years.
Our story began in the competitive dance world, where discipline, ambition, and passion shaped our path. Representing Romania for many years, we trained and competed at the highest international level, dedicating our lives to performance, precision, and artistic expression. When we moved to Germany, we made one of the biggest decisions of our careers: we stepped into the Professional Division to compete with the best couples in the world.
That decision changed everything.
We became German Professional Champions and later achieved one of our proudest results — 11th place in the World Professional 10 Dance Championship and top world rankings in major international competitions. But behind the elegance of ballroom dance stands a difficult truth: high-level competitive dance is beautiful — and incredibly expensive. We loved competing, but we also knew we needed a sustainable future.
Then came an unexpected moment of inspiration.
One day, we saw an advertisement for a world cruise and thought: Who doesn’t dream of seeing the world? That simple question opened a completely new direction for us. We began searching for opportunities to work as a Ballroom & Latin couple onboard cruise ships — combining performance, travel, and teaching.
It wasn’t easy. We faced rejection, delays, and uncertainty. We sent more than 100 applications, emails, and showreels. Months passed with no answer. But we didn’t give up.
Then came the email that changed our lives — we were accepted to perform onboard a major international cruise line. Our first ship contract launched us into a new world of large theatres, international audiences, full-scale production shows, and global travel.
Since then, we have performed in dozens of theatre productions at sea — Ballroom, Latin, Jazz, Musical Theatre, commercial shows, opera productions, and gala events. We have danced across oceans, taught guests from around the world, and turned cruise ship stages into our second home.
Today, we are not only performers but also dance instructors, choreographers, and storytellers through movement — sharing our journey both on stage and through this blog.

ALEXANDRA CORDOS
Alexandra is a professional Ballroom & Latin dancer, performer, and certified dance trainer with an extensive international career in both competition and stage performance.
With more than two decades of dance experience, Alexandra has competed at world championship level and achieved top international rankings as part of a professional dance couple. She is recognized for her strong stage presence, musical sensitivity, technical precision, and expressive performance style.
She has worked extensively as a show cast dancer and specialist Ballroom & Latin couple performer on major international cruise lines, appearing in full-scale theatre productions, themed showcases, and gala performances at sea. She has performed in numerous theatre productions and cruise ship shows featuring Ballroom, Latin, Jazz, and Musical Theatre choreography, including opera productions such as Carmen and Madame Butterfly. Alongside performing, Alexandra is an experienced dance instructor, teaching Ballroom, Latin, and Sequence dancing to students and cruise guests from around the world.
Alexandra holds a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Modern Languages (French–English) and is also a certified dance coach, combining communication skills with technical dance expertise.
She speaks multiple languages, including Romanian, English, French, German, and Spanish, which allows her to work easily with international students and audiences.

ADRIAN FLOREA
Adrian is a professional Ballroom & Latin dancer, stage performer, and certified dance trainer with a strong background in international competition and theatre production shows.
With over 25 years of dance experience, Adrian has competed at elite world level and achieved top placements in Professional division, including World Championship and World Games events. Known for his dynamic performance energy, clean technique, and powerful partnering skills, he is featured regularly in theatre and gala productions at sea.
He has worked extensively as a show cast dancer and specialist Ballroom & Latin couple performer on major cruise lines, appearing in multiple full-scale productions and themed showcases. His performance range includes Ballroom, Latin, Jazz, Musical Theatre, and commercial styles, as well as advanced lifts and partnering work.
Adrian holds a Bachelor’s degree in Dance Trainer and Sports Education and has worked as a lead trainer for youth and adult dance classes in Germany and Romania. He is experienced in coaching competitive dancers as well as teaching social dancers and beginners.
He speaks Romanian, English, German, and Spanish and is known for his structured teaching style, clarity, and motivational coaching approach.
